The difference between a grease injection gun and a grease injection pump. What are the differences in their main functions, and what are their respective application conditions as well as advantages and disadvantages? 2. Regarding the greasing of valves, can it be done on all types of valves? 3. What are some of the manufacturers or brands that produce injectors or grease pumps that are effective at present? A grease gun is what we commonly call a butter gun – it requires manual operation to inject grease. A grease pump, on the other hand, has an internal power source, which saves labor and improves work efficiency. Since you work in the field of oil and gas storage and transportation, you use a lot of plug valves, and a large amount of sealing silicone grease is required for these; that’s why grease injection pumps are used, as they save time and effort. Thank you so much! I understand what you mean; in other words, the difference between these two is just in terms of power, right! ? But I heard someone say that a grease injection pump can be used to clean the interior of valves equipped with grease injection nozzles (by injecting cleaning fluid), lubricate them (by injecting grease), and address minor internal leaks (by using sealing grease), tasks that a grease injection gun cannot perform. Is this true?
