How to deal with excessive internal heat? How can one tell if there is internal heat?
Put a thermometer inside, take it out and check what color it is; as for the treatment, it depends on what kind of furnace it is.
A drop in temperature is usually caused by leakage; you can measure the temperature of the small flue and the branch flues – if it’s high, that indicates a drop in temperature! Identify the cause; make the necessary repairs or apply the appropriate spray. The overheating might also be due to excessive suction force that causes a short circuit, so adjust the suction force to the right level
