Valve maintenance for the lockbox system

When performing maintenance on the valves of the lockhopper system, such as the XV0715 pressure relief valve, the manual valve of the lockhopper is closed. In such cases, the following steps should be followed: 1. Ensure that the lockhopper pump is shut off; 2. Make sure that the lockhopper is completely empty and has no pressure; 3. Ensure that the level of water in the flush water supply for the lockhopper is not too high, so that water can flow out through the pressure relief pipeline; 4. Adjust the operation parameters of the gasifier (what does this mean?) In my opinion, after the maintenance is completed and slag first accumulates in the lock hopper and needs to be removed, pressure should not be released using a pressure relief valve; instead, it should be done through the exhaust valve located at the top of the lock hopper. For subsequent pressure relief, use a pressure relief valve. Because when the lock hopper has not been emptied of slag for a long time, a large amount of slag may accumulate; during pressure relief, this slag can enter the pressure relief pipeline and block it. This kind of situation has occurred in our factory, and it’s very troublesome.
