Where did the quilt go?

The teacher wrote the character for “quilt” and asked a student what character it was; the student couldn’t answer. The teacher gave a hint, saying, “Is there a bed in your home?” The student replied, “Yes.” The teacher asked, “What’s on the bed?” The student answered, “There are *dream threads* on the bed.” “What’s on those *dream threads*?” the teacher asked. The student replied, “There’s grass on those *dream threads*.” “What’s on the grass?” the student asked. “My mom is on the grass,” he said. “And what’s above your mom?” the teacher asked. “My dad is above my mom,” the student replied. Seeing that he still couldn’t answer, the teacher urgently asked, “What’s above your dad then?” The student shook his head and said, “Nothing.” The teacher quickly asked, “What about the quilt?” After thinking for a while, the student said, “My dad kicked the quilt to the floor.””
