How should line cleaning for pipes connected to internal floating roof tanks be handled? Can gas be used to sweep into the tank?
It’s possible, but attention must be paid to the intake pressure and flow rate – they shouldn’t be too high, to avoid pushing the floating disk out of position or even flipping it over. Additionally, care should be taken: if the tank level is too high or too low, it’s not possible to sweep the line into the tank.
