Recently, after comparing the chromatograms of previous samples with those obtained currently using gas chromatography, it was found that the concentrations in the current samples are higher and the levels of impurities are lower compared to before. Is this another problem with the chromatograph? How should it be adjusted?
You should use a standard sample for comparison; after using the chromatograph for some time, issues such as a decrease in column efficiency or a decline in detector sensitivity can occur. The column can also be aged or the detector can be cleaned.
It is more reliable to use a standard sample to determine the calibration factor

The main reason is that the tail gas flow is too low; adjusting it to a carrier gas flow rate of 35 milliliters per minute will resolve the issue.
