I have been tasked with preparing the procedural guidelines for a new device. Lacking work experience, I want to make the guidelines as comprehensive as possible by including all relevant information, but I feel it might become overly complicated and repetitive. I would appreciate advice from those with more experience: how can I create excellent procedural guidelines?
What kind of content is needed? The terms vary from place to place; in some cases, it actually refers to work instruction sheets
First, it is necessary to become familiar with the process flow; second, to get to know the equipment in the entire facility; third, to have in-depth discussions with experienced employees. Finally, it is necessary to track the actual operations and keep improving them.
