As the title suggests, I would like to know what auxiliary materials are needed in the ethylene production process; the more comprehensive the list, the better. I hope to get your help!
Many materials are required, including naphtha, hydrogenation tail oil, light diesel, light hydrocarbons, ethane, propane, butane, and stripping oil – all of which must meet certain quality standards as raw materials. By \"auxiliary materials,\" I understand chemicals other than the raw materials, such as sodium phosphate, sodium hydroxide, various polymerization inhibitors (used in quench towers, compressors, depropanization towers, decarboxylation units of different types), dimethyl disulfide DMDS, butter inhibitors, coking inhibitors to extend the operational life of furnace tubes, anti-emulsifiers, methanol, and so on. Concentrated acid is also required to treat the waste alkaline solution emitted during the production process.
