Notice on the Organization of the Second “SAP Cup China Equipment Management Informatization Essay Competition” In 2010, the magazine \"China Equipment Engineering\" collaborated with the globally renowned enterprise management software company SAP to organize the \"First SAP Cup China Equipment Management Informatization Essay Competition.\" This event received enthusiastic response and support from numerous enterprises, research institutions, and universities in China, achieving great success and playing a positive role in promoting the exchange of ideas related to equipment management informatization among Chinese enterprises. In 2011, building on the partnership between the magazine \"China Equipment Engineering\" and SAP, the globally renowned Deloitte Management Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. also joined forces, and the three of us jointly organized the \"2nd SAP Cup Essay Competition on the Informatization of Equipment Management in China\". The editorial office of \"China Equipment Engineering\" magazine will, as always, continue to create a platform for communication and cooperation among enterprises, experts, scholars, and professionals, providing more front-line equipment management engineers and technicians with a stage to showcase their academic talents. The arrangements for this essay competition are as follows: 1. Timeline: It will officially commence on June 15, 2011, with the deadline being September 15. September 15–30 is the expert review phase. In the middle to late October, the “China Equipment Asset Management Informatization Conference and the Award Ceremony for the 2nd SAP Cup China Equipment Management Informatization Essay Competition” will be held in Beijing (further details will be announced later). II. Award Establishment: For this essay competition, first, second, and third prizes, as well as special awards, will be given. Specifically, there will be 3 first-prize winners, 6 second-prize winners, 12 third-prize winners, and several special prize winners. For the organizations that provided strong support for this event, 3 special “Event Organization Awards” have been established. III. Publication of a collection of papers: The editorial office of the magazine \"China Equipment Engineering\" will publish a collection of papers from this competition (with an official publication number), including the papers that won awards as well as some papers that did not win awards but were highly praised by the judges. June 15, 2011 Attachment 1: Guidelines for Submissions to the SAP Cup China Equipment Management Informatization Essay Competition The scope of submissions for this competition focuses on information systems such as EAM (Enterprise Asset Management), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), MRO (also known as MRO2, which refers to equipment maintenance, repair, overhauling, and operation), and LCC (Life Cycle Cost of Equipment). The information systems involved can be those customized by specialized agencies for corporate clients, or they can be professional software systems purchased and implemented by enterprises from such agencies ； It can be the establishment of an information system that reflects the company’s own characteristics, or it can be the experience gained from operating software systems for enterprise equipment management ； It can be an introduction to a single project information system (software package), or a comprehensive overview of the entire system ； It can be an analysis of practical application cases or theoretical exploration. Management of equipment maintenance plans 10. Management of outsourcing contracts for equipment maintenance 11. Equipment structure (equipment BOM, layout, connections) 12. Resource management for equipment maintenance (human resources, tools, qualifications, etc.) 13. Equipment safety and compliance management 14. Establishment and management of maintenance and repair knowledge bases 15. Evaluation and intelligent analysis of equipment management. If the author’s institution has a similarly advanced and effective informatization system, they are not subject to the above requirements for submitting papers. II.
