What is the purpose of high-pressure nitrogen in the coal water slurry gasification process? Any expert advice?
I recently learned that the slurry coal pipeline and the oxygen pipeline are used for purging purposes. There are also high-pressure nitrogen pipelines in the middle of the gasifier and below the slag breaker; I’d like to know what function those two pipelines serve as well. Hehe ^_^

There is a high-pressure nitrogen supply for the oxygen burner, and one as well for the slurry pipeline burner; both are used for purging purposes. There is also one that provides sealing behind the main oxygen valve, and another that serves to equalize pressure midway between the upstream and downstream sides of the oxygen. There is also the carrier gas that goes to the pressure-taking pipe of the gasification furnace. As you mentioned, there is a backwashing function at the slag breaker; if the lock valve gets blocked, this gas is used for backwashing. Nowadays, this fluid is basically high-pressure ash water.
Functions of high-pressure nitrogen: target cleaning and purging, sealing, backwashing, and clog removal.
