Globe tank gauging and measurement

Do any of you have any insights regarding the measurement of spherical tanks? LPG, propylene, ethylene? What is the situation like for the metrology staff in various units when conducting comparisons between mass flow meters and tank level measurements? How is the density corrected? I would appreciate your guidance.
In the old tank areas, magnetic level gauges were used on-site, but they were quite inaccurate and highly affected by temperature changes. The new spherical tanks are equipped with Japanese servo-type level gauges, which are much more accurate; however, measuring the level in spherical tanks remains a challenge in all cases
