What is a professional qualification certificate? Is the intermediate professional title (engineer) certificate a professional qualification certificate?
Professional qualification certificates are issued by the Ministry of Urban and Rural Development, such as those for registered architects, registered structural engineers, and registered construction managers. Registration is required, along with a registration seal. One must be qualified to practice. A professional title is simply issued by the provincial department of personnel or the bureau of human resources and social security; it merely indicates that, from a capability perspective, you have reached the level of an engineer (an intermediate professional title). In other words, it’s similar to the College English Test Band 4 – that test shows that you have reached that level of English proficiency, and it serves as a certificate of that fact! !
Isn’t an intermediate professional title then a vocational qualification certificate?
A professional qualification is a prerequisite for engaging in a certain profession, whereas a professional title, literally speaking, is merely the name of a position.
