Can the safety valve and the lock slag valve that are part of the Texaco gasifier interlock be swapped with each other?
It’s not possible; this design is based on a logical reason: when there is a problem with the slag locking valve, the safety valve can take over to prevent further issues. If it were placed below that valve, online maintenance of the slag locking valve would become impossible.
What was said upstairs is absolutely correct. Support
The slag collection valve and the safety valve can be interchanged; our supervisor asked the relevant department, and we were told that they can be swapped. I understand that if the safety valve doesn’t work properly, it can be replaced with a slag discharge valve. Could you please explain the specific reasons why it can’t be replaced?
Reply to 4# Hulunbuir Grassland: If the slag locking valve is located at the top, in the event that it malfunctions, it will not be possible to remove it for replacement.
Lower slag locking valve: Mainly used for slag discharge and collection. Upper slag lock valve and lower slag lock valve: mainly used to disconnect the gasifier. Different units use the upper slag lock valve and the middle slag lock valve in different ways: 1. The two slag lock valves are used alternately – in the first cycle, the upper slag lock valve is opened/closed (while the middle slag lock valve remains open); in the second cycle, the middle slag lock valve is opened/closed (with the upper slag lock valve remaining open). 2. The upper valve functions as a safety valve, while the middle valve serves as a shut-off valve (used continuously for opening/closing). In the first case, the goal is mainly to reduce wear on individual valves, but there is a concern that both valves might experience wear and leakage. In the second case, keeping the valve in the open position for an extended period causes significant wear on the valve, but it can be shut off to allow for appropriate repairs. Once a problem occurs in the slag locking system, the lock hopper interlock is activated, and all three slag locking valves – the upper, middle, and lower ones – receive a signal to close.
Generally, the valve located near the equipment is the safety valve; depending on the operating conditions of our company, our inlet valve and safety valve are switched in terms of function
When is the lockhopper system activated during the commissioning of gasification? The lockhopper system. I’m troubling everyone.
The safety valve and the lockable slag valve can be interchanged; it is better to have the safety valve on top
Reply to 8# mozhiyang: Half an hour after adding the material is a reasonable time
It can be replaced, but at that time the instrument signal also needs to be changed; that is, when there is a problem with the lock valve, a safety valve is used to take its place, and the instrument signal must be adjusted accordingly. Signal from the safety valve for the lockout valve, signal from the lockout valve for the safety valve
