I would like to ask the experts: Our turbine unit is not in operation; only the oil station is active. Since the heater of the oil filter is turned on, the oil temperature is 54 degrees. What effects might this have on the unit if the temperature isn’t reduced?
There won’t be any impact; the oil temperature in the tank is usually 50+°C when it’s operating normally. But you have to use oil cooling; otherwise, the oil temperature will keep rising.
