What path should chemical engineering students take?

When I was in college, the school said that the chemical engineering major offered a wide range of employment opportunities. . . Actually, I’m not sure either how many people will end up returning to the chemical industry. I’m not the kind of person who works hard; sigh, I feel completely lost about my future. Could everyone share what they know about employment opportunities in the chemical industry?
In the chemical industry, it’s not enough to satisfy hunger, but discarding it would be a waste as well – it has little taste when consumed. When I was in college, I swore that I would get away from the chemical industry and change careers after graduation. Things didn’t go as planned; upon graduation, I had to work on his projects under his supervision. It was like a frog being boiled in warm water – I got deeper and deeper into it. There is a saying: there may be competitors, but no shared profits. It applies to any industry. Even in industries that are not doing well, there are people who drive BMWs and Mercedes; and even in industries that are thriving, there are those who take buses or ride bicycles. Or rather, in that industry, everyone drives BMWs and Mercedes ； There are also those who ride bicycles. If you can’t make it on your own, it’s time to reflect on your own problems; don’t blame the industry for everything.
Face reality, start from scratch, work diligently, and build a solid foundation.
