Regarding the crude benzene hydrogenation units built and put into operation using the Wood process, I would like to mention whether a process for removing heavy benzene has been adopted.
We use the improved process from Zhejiang Meiyang Design Institute, as well as weight-removal methods
What we do is the hydrogenation of 100,000 tons of crude benzene; I’ve forgotten where exactly it was designed. It includes a dewaxing unit, and the first step in the process is the separation of light and heavy components

Imported designs usually do not have this feature; the main reason is that the composition of the raw materials differs from that of domestic crude benzene. In such designs, a certain amount of Recombination d components must be present to serve as the bottom liquid level. The plants designed by the Jiaonai Institute also use the Wood process, so they typically lack this feature as well. Meiyangyuan definitely has it; he built his career on this, and when he used it for the first time in Shijiao, it was effective.

Reply to 19# lll1988: Here are a few points for reference. Control the liquid level in the evaporator and the temperature of the reactor; it should not be too high. Ensure the temperature at the pre-reactor inlet, and drain liquid regularly
