Changing careers; want to work in nylon industry

There is a company that deals with nylon, and they have invited me for an interview; the position seems to be something like an on-site engineer. Is it still okay to work for a company that specializes in nylon? How much do on-site engineers usually earn?
It depends; there are quite a few foreign companies, and it mainly comes down to salary supplements. State-owned enterprises and private companies aren’t that great. In the domestic fiber and nylon industry, aside from China Resources which is a large state-owned enterprise, the rest are small private companies that are not listed on the stock market. I’m not sure why you want to change jobs to work in the nylon sector; I’ve worked on nylon-related projects before, so we can exchange ideas. . . .

I’m not familiar with Jinlan Enterprise, so I don’t know what the salary is like or how it might develop over time This company used to be engaged only in spinning and post-processing, but now it plans to start working in polymerization. What did you do before? Could you give an introduction? Thank you
