Shenhua uses the T-Star process for cyclic solvent hydrogenation; the catalysts are said to have been developed by the China Academy of Petroleum Sciences and produced in Changling; Liaoning Haitai, or Fuyan Research Institute? I’m not sure; I hope the moderator can give some guidance.
Fuyan’s products are more expensive than imported ones. Private enterprises can buy imported products; state-owned enterprises should support domestic products!
In its first industrial application, the 1.0 Mt/a coal direct liquefaction oil hydrogenation reforming unit of Shenhua’s coal direct liquefaction pilot project utilized the coal direct liquefaction oil hydrogenation reforming technology (RCHU) developed by SINOPEC Research Institute of Petroleum Processing, along with the corresponding RGC-1/RNC-2/RCC-1 catalyst set. This technology involves the hydrogenation reforming of light fractions derived from coal direct liquefaction in order to improve product quality and increase the cetane number of diesel products. This paper summarizes the catalyst presulfurization during the initial industrial operation of the hydrogenation reforming unit for directly liquefied coal oil. By comparing the actual sulfur content of the catalyst with the theoretical value, as well as the actual amount of water generated with the theoretical amount, it can be seen that the sulfur uptake rate of the catalyst was high during this operation, indicating good sulfurization efficiency. This is stated in the article published by Shenhua Coal-to-Oil Company in 2013 titled \"Analysis of the Sulfidation Process for Combined Catalysts Used in the Hydrogenation Reforming of Directly Liquefied Coal Oil\"; was it then replaced with catalysts from Fuyan Research Institute?
