At the inlet of the pump, pipes are usually equipped with brackets that provide mirror-like limiting functions; on the side of the outlet pipe that is close to the pump, there is a sliding mechanism, while on the side far from the pump, there is a guiding mechanism. This is the standard setup. For pipes related to thermal stress or shielded pumps, stress calculations may be necessary. If something is incorrect, please ask other colleagues to correct it. Personally, I think it should be a fixed bracket, because there are flexible connectors at both the pump’s inlet and outlet, so the pipeline can’t stretch any further. Moreover, the support should be placed outside the flexible joint, not between the flexible joint and the pump. If it is placed between them, it will affect the pump’s shock absorption. If a support must be installed between the flexible joint and the pump, then it should be a floating support.
I don’t think it’s necessary; basically, there are soft seals made of rubber or bellows, but this varies depending on the model, and fixed supports are sufficient
