Sedimentation tank bottom flow pumps: How to select a pump for applications with high solid content? Which type is the best? In particular, what material should be used for the impeller? There is also a problem of wear and leakage in the outlet pipelines. Please advise those with experience on this issue.
It depends on whether the medium is corrosive, and whether it causes acidic or alkaline corrosion; only then can the material of the impeller be determined
When the solid content is relatively high, in addition to corrosion resistance, the impeller also needs to consider wear resistance
