Flue gas temperature at the furnace outlet of the heat transfer oil furnace

The 6 million kcal heat transfer oil furnace has a return oil temperature of 280 degrees, an outlet oil temperature of 306 degrees, and a flue gas temperature of 303 degrees. The smoke exhaust temperature should generally be higher than the outlet oil temperature. Is 303 degrees correct?
I agree with the original poster’s view. Are your furnaces arranged vertically or horizontally, and is there an on-site gauge to show the oil temperature at the outlet? Try changing the measurement point for the exhaust temperature and compare to see which gauge is faulty; it should be that the exhaust temperature is higher than the oil temperature at the outlet
What is the connection style of the furnace tubes? Series-parallel or parallel-parallel for the oil inlet, from the inner ring or the outer ring? Only by knowing this can we make a judgment; it’s possible that the oil flows from the outer ring to the inner ring, as the original poster said
This post was last edited by zgj2405 on 2011-8-2 at 12:56. It’s not normal; I guess it’s due to the way you conducted the measurements! Under normal conditions, the temperature of the smoke is 50–60 degrees higher than that of the oil at the outlet. In other words, your smoke exhaust level is actually around 360.
