How can the oil in the stabilizer reboiler be removed completely during shutdown and oil drainage?
Connect the crossover line to the flare tank; during pressure relief, the residual oil is sent to the flare tank for recovery.
Fill the reboiler with water to draw the oil away through the outlet line.
First, use water to push it up, then connect a hose to transfer the oil to the light-contaminated oil tank, and pump it to the defective product tank using a light-contaminated oil pump
A line is connected from the drain line at the bottom of the auto-riboiler (oil drainage line) to the inlet of the stable gasoline transfer pump; this usually suffices to remove all the oil. If you’re not confident, you can wash the tower with water and then pump the liquid through it again. Finally, using nitrogen to purge the tower can also help remove any remaining oil – this provides a double layer of protection: one method for speed, and another for reliability.
Open the reboiler drain valve, discharge the oil securely into the reforming sludge main pipe, and introduce low-pressure nitrogen to remove any oil remaining in the tower.
I am in favor of connecting an oil waste line at the lowest point or linking it to the gasoline pump inlet; I’m not sure which option is more suitable; Water top? Do you want to fill the entire tower? Keep in mind that gasoline is less dense than water.
You don’t understand, water can’t displace gasoline, but it can be used to wash out the gasoline that is stuck in the downcomer channels and dead zones, allowing the gasoline along with the water to be removed together
