If the weight of the heat exchanger and the material used are known, how is the total cost of the heat exchanger usually calculated? It is the weight of the heat exchanger * unit price of the material * (a certain coefficient): How large is this coefficient usually?
The materials used in different parts of the heat exchanger vary. The weight of each component needs to be multiplied by its unit price, and then all these values are added together. Of course, material losses must also be taken into account, so a coefficient needs to be applied. I’m not in sales, so I’m not exactly sure what that coefficient is. After calculating the cost of the materials, other expenses such as processing labor costs, taxes, and transportation fees must also be taken into account.
