I’m not sure about the details; I’m not a professional in the chemical industry. In any case, it is either because the properties of the process medium require oil-free conditions, or it is to deal with oxygen pipelines in order to prevent explosion accidents caused by high temperature and pressure.

Oxygen pipelines and valves must be degreased, as oxygen can explode when in contact with oil.
Pipes and fittings with oxygen as the medium must be degreased. If the degreasing effect is poor, it is easy to cause a fire when opening a certain valve.
