Height of the header in the waste heat boiler

In waste heat boilers, the heating surfaces are often arranged horizontally, and natural circulation is commonly used. In such a configuration, what height should there be between the inlet and outlet of a single stage of heating surfaces to ensure reliable water circulation?
I know that it can be determined using hydrodynamic calculation methods, but the hydrodynamic characteristics of horizontal evaporation tubes are quite complex. Moreover, existing literature and calculation standards provide little information regarding the hydrodynamic calculations for such tubes; therefore, I would like to ask for everyone’s empirical data.
