Question: In low-temperature waste heat recovery power generation boilers for cement kilns, are finned tubes used as the heating surfaces? Is the ash content high in the flue gas? If the ash content is very high, will those heated surfaces get clogged?
It will definitely get clogged. Our circulating fluidized bed boiler’s exhaust gas air preheater also uses finned tubes, and the dust accumulated on these fins needs to be cleaned every two years. It’s very tiring to brush it manually with a steel brush slowly.
Due to the production process of cement kilns, the composition of the flue gases differs from that of coal-fired boilers, and ash shaking devices are generally installed.
