The current project requires crossing a road, and trenchless technology needs to be used. Does anyone here have experience with such projects? How is the cost of trenchless construction determined? How much is a DN200 pipe?
Jacketing. It’s very expensive; it’s not worth it. For DN200 pipes, excavation is carried out using a half-width road approach to better protect the finished products and provide traffic warnings; with accelerated efforts, the construction can be completed in two weeks
The cost for using non-excavation pipe pulling technology is roughly 500–600 yuan per meter
For DN200 pipes, the trenchless jacking technique is used; adding another 0 afterward will not make it possible to proceed.

Technology has advanced now. Both pipe jacking and directional drilling can be used; the key factors are the material of the pipes, the medium being transported, as well as the conditions at the site. For urban gas supply, PE pipes are now often installed using horizontal directional drilling. The cost is lower when the volume of work is large, while it’s higher when the volume is small.
