Are the Universiade volunteers uninteresting?

The Universiade organization asked us to be volunteers, but several colleagues who went there yesterday said it was extremely boring – it was like being part of a patrol team, walking around the streets with nothing exciting or meaningful happening! I thought I would meet many foreigners! Hehe..... So today the company sent an official notice saying that two more people are needed for Saturday, and they’re asking who wants to participate; I really don’t want to sign up!
It’s just a pointless hassle with those broken machines. Entertaining themselves – that’s why ordinary people are too lazy to pay attention. The officials were pleased. . Fixing things here and there still yields some benefit. . Why be drunk and unhappy? ?

If you can’t have the grapes, say they’re sour. I still want to give it a try, but unfortunately I don’t have the chance.
