For polyolefin extrusion granulators, the adjustment of the balancing air pressure for the cutter is usually done automatically for the feed air pressure, while the balancing air pressure is adjusted manually. Does anyone have any specific experience in making such adjustments? For example, how should it be adjusted during startup and under normal operating conditions, and what criteria should be used for these adjustments? In fact, this complexity is relative; for example, in a polypropylene granulator, when it is started up, the air pressure for feeding material is set according to the startup procedure (in manual mode), and the air pressure behind the cutting blade is also set. After the granulator begins operating, the resulting particles differ in terms of color, shape, and stability. Set the feed air pressure to automatic. Then automatic adjustment is implemented: that is, the air pressure for feeding is automatically adjusted based on the feed volume and the speed of the pelletizer.
