How about using PVC for the anti-corrosion and external insulation casing of pipelines?

Reply to 1# qqkkzhang: As long as the quality of the PVC outer coating is satisfactory, there should be no problems; it is particularly suitable for use in acidic and alkaline environments, and it also has a nice, neat appearance.
Our factory has tried it; the indoor pipes are fine. The main drawback is that the elbows and tees don’t look very good, but otherwise it’s okay. As for outdoor use, it’s difficult to clean once it gets dirty. 1. PVC casing system for fittings: These are pre-formed according to the shape of the fittings. White UV-resistant PVC can be used both indoors and outdoors; various other colors are suitable for indoor use. The products include fittings for pipeline systems with different connection methods, such as threaded connections, clamp connections, welded connections, and flanged connections – including elbows, tees, valves, pipe connectors, offset tees, reducers, and plugs.
2. PVC casing system for straight pipes: The casings for straight pipes are pre-shaped into a tubular form, making installation convenient. White UV-resistant PVC is used for both indoor and outdoor applications; other colors are used for indoor use. It is utilized for providing external protection for pipeline insulation systems as well as for pipes that require such protection.
3. PVC casing system for equipment: Flat casings are suitable for covering flat surfaces or large circular surfaces, such as air ducts, tanks, containers, and other equipment.
4. Installation methods for PVC casing systems: Glue bonding, tape bonding, fixing with stainless steel nails, and silicone sealing.

I haven’t used it before, but it should work well in chemical manufacturing companies. What’s the price?
The outer transparent PVC tube is there to provide additional protection for the inner tube, preventing it from being damaged by collisions or trampling. So I don’t think there’s much experience to share; if it seems necessary to provide protection on-site, then add protective measures.
