Now, many coking plants have built new gas power plants due to an excess of gas; gas power generation has high requirements for coke oven gas, especially with regard to its naphthalene content. Many manufacturers ultimately use diesel for naphthalene removal. For diesel that has absorbed naphthalene, apart from cryogenic regeneration, extraction regeneration, and distillation regeneration, are there any cheaper methods? Has anyone tried the new method?
Deep cryogenic regeneration should be quite cost-effective; however, operating with crude benzene to reduce the amount of naphthalene in the gas could be considered, followed by direct dry desorption of naphthalene
