Please discuss the problems that tend to occur during the production of melamine. In some time, our design institute will need to design a plant capable of producing 60,000 tons of melamine per year, using the pressurized gas-phase quenching process. No relevant design has been done in the courtyard before, so there is a lack of experience. I hope everyone will ask as many questions as possible, as well as provide their opinions and suggestions. After all, many problems that arise in actual production are not entirely the operator’s fault; rather, they result from a lack of consideration for the actual manufacturing process during the design phase.

The main issues are clogging in the urea system, vibrations caused by uneven gas distribution in the fluidized bed, molten salt leakage, air leakage in the feeding legs, and a rapid increase in filter resistance
