How should unused culture medium be disposed of?

What happens to the culture media used in microbiological experiments that remain unused after being sterilized? Discard or reuse? How to sterilize it again for secondary use?
Just throw it away! It can’t be used without sterilization, and it’s hard to explain what happens when it’s sterilized again; if problems arise during the cultivation process, it’s difficult to determine the causes.
