If there is a bypass, use it first; disassemble the panel as quickly as possible, then gently tap it with a steel ruler or use acid cleaning. It’s best to carry out regular cleaning during scheduled maintenance periods. No matter how the circulating water system is managed, impurities and water rust will always be present.
Take a detour to isolate the plate exchanger for maintenance; ensure that there is no internal leakage in the valves, and try to reduce the chlorine temperature of the equipment ahead
In my humble opinion: The temperature cannot be increased; it seems that steam should be used to heat the material. If scaling occurs on the material, this leads to poor heat transfer, which is why the temperature cannot rise. The flow rate also cannot increase, as scaling reduces the available flow area, thus preventing an increase in flow rate. The plate exchanger also makes a lot of noise due to vibration; poor heat transfer and inadequate steam condensation result in steam remaining in the water, which inevitably causes vibration and noise. As for repair methods, the most thorough approach would be to disassemble and clean the exchanger, and depending on the composition of the scaling, appropriate chemical treatments can be applied.
Blockage of plate exchangers is quite normal; they need to be cleaned regularly. The substance to use for pickling depends on the material of the plates, and these exchangers require frequent disassembly for maintenance
