Our company’s ammonia synthesis desulfurization system generates about 10,000 tons of sulfur containing impurities each year. However, the chemical composition of these impurities is quite complex; can they be used directly in the sulfur-based acid production system? Has anyone used it before? There should be no problem; mechanical impurities are filtered out, and organic impurities burn into carbon dioxide in the sulfur incineration furnace. As long as their quantity is not excessive, it should have no impact on sulfur-based acid production.
