How to remove the liquid accumulation in the shell side of a U-tube heat exchanger?
The baffle is provided with notches, and the housing has a drainage port.

A drain port is provided on the heat exchanger shell; the drain pipe bends downward within the shell side, staying as close as possible to the tube sheet. This allows the high pressure existing during operation to be used to effectively remove any accumulated liquid, thereby ensuring normal operation. The presence of a small amount of liquid will not affect normal operation.
According to the regulations, if there are exhaust and drainage pipes, how is it possible that the liquid cannot be completely drained?
