Guidelines for Coal Mill Installation 1. Installation Matters 1.1 These installation guidelines only list the special considerations and main requirements for coal mill installation. The installation of the coal mill should be considered in conjunction with the powder generation system, and all requirements regarding its installation are specified in the technical drawings and documents. The manufacturer shall not be held liable for quality issues resulting from improper operations during installation. To ensure the correct and smooth installation of the coal grinder, the construction party should pay attention to the following points: a. The installation work should be carried out by skilled technicians and workers; before starting the installation, it is necessary to familiarize oneself with the sequence and requirements for installing the coal grinder, prepare the specialized tools required for the installation, and have a thorough understanding of the installation guidelines and the manufacturer’s instructions. The materials provided by the manufacturer include the \"Operation Manual for ZGM95 Coal Grinding Mills\" and the \"Technical Drawing Documents for ZGM95 Medium-Speed Roller Coal Grinding Mills\" (mechanical part and electrical control part). b. The concrete pouring work must strictly comply with the manufacturer’s instructions and drawing requirements. c. Quality of coal grinder installation (mainly referring to the ability of rotating components to move freely and proper lubrication) ; The gap sizes in all areas have been adjusted to the proper values ; Factors such as proper adjustment of control signals must be properly verified. The acceptance items are specified in the acceptance items of the «ZGM95 Coal Grinding Mill Assembly Inspection Card» (carried out in stages). After installation, conduct a final inspection of the setup before the three fillings to ensure that it starts up in the correct sequence. 1.2 General installation guidelines: a. The machined mating surfaces of the components must be cleaned thoroughly, and a thin layer of MoS2 grease should be applied evenly, especially on the load-bearing surfaces of components such as the table, the gearbox output flange, the drive disc, and the grinding disc. b. All bolt holes used for lifting or maintenance, and which are not in use during operation, must be secured with bolts or screws for protection. c. The threads of all bolts and screws must be cleaned thoroughly and coated with MoS2 lubricant before they can be tightened in. d. All welding areas must be constructed in strict accordance with the requirements of the installation drawings, especially the welding of the base and the casing. e. The hot air inlet of the coal grinder, its casing, the manholes of the separator, and all sealed connections must be airtight to prevent leaks. f. The coal grinder is undergoes a trial assembly before leaving the factory, and is numbered before being disassembled; it is installed according to these numbers or markings. g. Make detection records item by item; the detection cards can be found in the “Technical Drawing Documents for ZGM95 Medium-Speed Roller Coal Mill”. h. To prevent static electricity buildup in the coal grinder, a ground wire should be connected from the frame, and grounding must be ensured. i. When performing welding operations within the mill itself, it is essential to connect a ground wire to ensure that the welding current does not flow through key components such as the grinding rolls, reducers, hydraulic cylinders, and joint bearings, thereby preventing damage. 2. Installation Instructions 2.1 Pouring concrete (including alignment of the gearbox base and motor base) The foundation for the ZGM95 coal grinder is a heavy-duty type, with a weight more than 5 times that of the grinder itself, in order to withstand the dynamic and static loads generated during the grinding process. All embedded parts are connected to the foundation into a rigid whole through two concrete pourings. The foundation of the coal grinder is independent; it is separated from the foundation of the plant building to prevent its own vibrations from affecting foundations such as those of the main plant building. The concrete is poured in three stages. 2.1.1 The first pouring is carried out for the main part of the foundation, and it mainly includes tasks such as pouring the anchor bolt boxes and embedded components, the holes reserved for anchor bolts, and the conduits for power cables. 2.1.2 The second watering is carried out after aligning the gearbox base plate and the motor base plate. 2.1.2.1 Preparation work: Check the embedded rebar and pre-drilled holes for each pouring, and clean the surface of the foundation (loose material on the surface must be removed). Prepare the shims, adjustment screws, and measuring tools (the measuring tools include a horizontal ruler of about 2m). 2.1.2.2 Using the reference points defined in the plant design as a basis, the centerline, longitudinal and transverse axes, as well as the relative elevations of the coal grinder are determined based on the relevant drawings. Steel wires (approximately φ0.2mm in diameter) are used to fix these axes, and the positions of the foundation holes are adjusted. The height of the foundation is determined using a level. If there is a discrepancy between the construction and the drawings, such as: a. Incorrect relative positioning among the gearbox base plate, the motor base plate, and the tie rod base plate; b. The foundation being too high; c. The foundation being too low. The construction unit shall promptly consult with the relevant parties to determine a solution and make a written record of it. 2.1.2.3 Remove oil, rust, anti-corrosion coatings, and other debris from the surface of the gearbox base plate; check whether the machined surface is deformed, with the allowable flatness error being less than 0.1/1000. 2.1.2.4 Positioning of the gearbox base plate and the motor base plate: Align the base plates by referring to the center line of the foundation and the center line on the base plates. Adjust the height of the platform using shims and adjustment screws; the machined surface at the top of the platform constitutes its front face. The elevation of the gearbox platform surface is “+25mm”, while that of the motor base’s machined surface is also “+25mm”. Use a level to check the flatness of the platform’s machined surface in the longitudinal, transverse, and diagonal directions, in order to ensure it is level. The horizontal error of the gearbox base plate must be less than 0.1/1000. The horizontal error of the motor base must be less than 0.2/1000. Note: Gaskets are not allowed under the gearbox! Install and calibrate the tie rod base plate; adjust its height using adjustment bolts, and measure the unevenness of its machined surface in the longitudinal, transverse, and diagonal directions with a level to ensure it is level – the horizontal error must be less than 0.2/1000. When installing the gearbox maintenance guide rails, it is necessary to ensure that the upper surface of the guide rails is at the same level as the upper surface of the gearbox base plate; there should be no protruding weld joints between the guide rails and the base plate ; If it is not flat, it must be ground flat. Note: The shims must be placed properly and in firm contact with the cement surface. 2.1.2.5 After aligning each slab, pre-tighten the foot bolts according to the instructions in the foundation plan, recheck the levelness of each slab, and then pour concrete as required for the secondary pouring. 2.1.2.6 After the second grouting has dried, tighten all foundation bolts as shown in the diagram. The tightening torque values for various anchor bolts are shown in the table below: Component Name, Specification, Tightening Torque before the second pouring (Nm), Tightening Torque 28 days after curing after the second pouring (Nm). Frame: M30, 0, 200; Motor base plate: M36, 80, 280; Gearbox base plate: M42, 150, 1150; Tie rod base plate: M72, 400, 3250. 2.1.3 The third pouring is carried out after all components of the coal grinder and its associated parts have been installed and inspected. (See 2.20) The requirements for pouring concrete are specified in the foundation drawings MG30.30 and MG30.32 for the coal grinder platform, which can be found in the \"Technical Drawing Documents for ZGM95 Medium-Speed Roller Coal Grinders\". Precautions for pouring: a. The concrete must be shrinkage-resistant; its properties should match those specified in the drawings, and the bottom of the slab must be completely filled. b. The pouring inside the gearbox base plate must reach the elevation of zero meters. c. Strictly control the elevation for the second pouring (elevation “-100mm”). d. Before irrigation, apply rust-proof grease to the exposed processed surfaces and protect them with wooden boards. e. Leave all reserved holes as designed. f. Maintain for 28 days. Then check the pouring condition under the platform. Check by tapping; there should be no voids. g. Before irrigation, the upper ends of all anchor bolt boxes should be sealed with rubber pads or foam plastic to prevent water and cement mortar from entering the anchor bolt housings or the holes of the connecting bolts during secondary grouting. 2.2 Gearbox Installation (MG33.11.03) 2.2.1 Thoroughly clean the machined surface of the gearbox base, check its levelness, and after it meets the requirements, apply a thin layer of MoS2 lubricant evenly. 2.2.2 Raise the gearbox to an appropriate height, and thoroughly clean off any burrs or debris from the bottom surface of the gearbox. 2.2.3 Position the gearbox (Note: During transportation and towing, only the lifting rings provided on the gearbox should be used). Place the gearbox on the platform, and adjust its position using the set screws around the platform, so that the marks on the bottom edge of the gearbox align with the marks on the platform; the maximum allowable deviation for its centerline is ±0.4 mm. Before tightening the bolts, use a feeler gauge to check their contact surfaces; the gap in critical areas must be less than 0.1 mm, otherwise the contact surfaces need to be repaired. 2.2.4 Measure the levelness of the output flange surface of the gearbox; the tolerance shall be less than 0.2 mm. Note: Gaskets are not allowed between the gearbox and the platform. Once the gearbox has been aligned, tighten the foot bolts and set screws in accordance with the tightening sequence indicated on the foundation plan to secure the gearbox. 2.2.5 The gearbox can only rotate in the direction indicated on the drawings; therefore, before connecting the gearbox to the motor, it is necessary to check whether the motor is rotating in the correct direction. At this time, the barring device must not be connected. 2.3 Frame Installation (02MG30.11.04) 2.3.1 Before positioning the frame, place the loading cylinder (02MG30.11.14) assembly next to the gearbox. Place the four channel steels on the foundation at the positions indicated in the frame’s drawings (02MG30.11.04), and then position the frame on top of those channel steels. The elevation of the top surface of the base is adjusted to +1865 millimeters using shims on the channel steel; the upper part of the base is aligned with reference to the output flange of the gearbox, and the allowable horizontal error on the surface of the base is less than 6 mm. Use a plumb bob to align the inner surface of the seal ring that seals the frame with the output flange of the gearbox, ensuring that the concentricity tolerance is less than 0.2 mm. After the center and elevation are satisfactory, weld and fix the flange under the base together with the adjustment shims and channel steel. 2.3.2 Insert the foot bolts, and carry out secondary grouting in accordance with the requirements of the coal grinder base plate layout diagram (drawing number MG30.32). 2.3.3 After the secondary grouting has dried, tighten the anchor bolts according to the specified tightening torque, and secure the lock washers in place. 2.4 Installation of the drive disc and scraper device (MG30.11.07) 2.4.1 Thoroughly clean the flange surface of the gearbox wheel, the bolt holes, and the lower surface of the drive disc. First, insert the three positioning pins used for guidance into the M48 bolt holes on the gearbox’s output drive flange with a diameter of Φ1150; place one positioning pin every 120° or so, and tighten them enough so that they do not move. 2.4.2 Install the retaining ring at the lower part of the drive disc; when lifting, ensure that the center of the sealing ring of the base sealing device is aligned, and at the same time align the Φ52 through-hole on the Φ1150 circumference with the aforementioned three guide centering pins. Lower the drive disc slowly; extreme care must be taken during installation to avoid damaging the serrations on the toothed plate. Also, ensure that the shoulder at the bottom of the drive disc fits into the protruding positioning shoulder on the gearbox’s output flange, until it is properly in place. Use a feeler gauge to check whether the mating surface between the drive disc and the gearbox output flange is tight, in order to determine if it is properly installed. 2.4.3 Install the bolts that connect the drive disc to the gearbox output flange, and check whether the gap between the drive disc and the frame is even. Then remove the three guide centering pins, install all the bolts, and tighten them in a symmetrical manner, with a clamping torque of 4390 Nm. After all bolts have been tightened, snap the lock washer into place. 2.4.4 Installation of the scraper device: Install the scraper device on the drive disc, and adjust the gap between the lower part of the scraper and the top surface of the base; the normal gap should be 6 to 8 millimeters. Check the gaps between the inner side of the scraper and the guard ring on the frame, as well as between the outer side and the inner wall of the hot air chamber; both gaps must be greater than 10 millimeters. After all bolts have been tightened, snap the lock washer into place. 2.5 Shell Installation (02MG30.11.12) 2.5.1 Lift the shell into position on the base; the coordinate positions for placing the shell on the base have been marked by the manufacturer using positioning pins on the base. Align according to the drawings during installation. 2.5.2 Align the center of the casing, and check its levelness and elevation. For alignment at the lower center of the casing, use the shoulder on the drive disc as a reference to align the inner diameter of the outer ring of the nozzle (component 2 of MG32.11.08); this component is already fixed to the casing during the trial assembly in the factory, with the gap between the outer ring of the nozzle and the casing being filled and welded using a Φ20 round steel bar (component 1 of MG32.11.08). For alignment at the upper part, use the center of the output flange of the gearbox as a reference and employ a plumb line for alignment. The allowable deviation of the center of the upper and lower parts is less than 3 mm. When adjusting alignment, be sure to account for the effect of casing deformation, and check whether the gap between the outer side of the scraper device and the inner wall of the hot air chamber is greater than 20 millimeters. Use a plumb bob to recheck whether the center line of the seal on the pull rod on the casing coincides with the center position of the pull rod seat; the allowable deviation is less than 3 mm. 2.5.3 After passing the acceptance test, the casing is welded to the base. 2.6 Installation of the grinding ring and nozzle ring (MG32.11.08) 2.6.1 Clean the upper surface of the drive disc and the lower surface of the grinding ring, then apply a layer of MoS2 grease. Inspect the three drive pins on the drive disc, and lift the wear ring and nozzle ring into place. Use a feeler gauge to check the contact surface between the drive disc and the grinding disc; once good contact is confirmed, position the nozzle ring and fix it to the grinding ring as shown in diagram MG32.11.08. Check whether the gap between the inner and outer rings of the nozzle is 10 mm, with an allowable error of 3 mm. If not, it is necessary to discuss the issue with the relevant parties and keep a record of it. 2.6.2 Installation of the shims: As described earlier, the shim with serial number 1 is installed at the location on the shim tray where a Φ60 cylindrical pin is present; the remaining shims are installed in accordance with their respective serial numbers. 2.6.3 Fix the gasket, cover plate, and conical shield to the grinding disc using bolts in accordance with the diagram requirements. 2.7 Installation of grinding roller unit (MG32.11.09) 2.7.1 Clean the hinge socket of the roller frame and apply MoS2 grease. 2.7.2 Fix the grinding roller holder to the housing according to Figure MG32.61.04, install a lifting tool for the grinding roller on the roller holder, and lift the grinding roller assembly into the housing and into place. 2.7.3 Install the grinding roller carefully; to prevent it from toppling over and to facilitate alignment work below, the centers of the screw holes in the mounting bracket of the grinding roller should align with those in the roller frame, after which the grinding roller and the bracket are fixed together using bolts. Note: When positioning the grinding roller, one of the oil drainage holes on the roller core should be turned to the lowest position, so that the anti-rust oil inside the roller can be completely drained after installation. Both the roller sleeve and the lining pads are made of high-chromium cast iron; therefore, no impact, welding, or heating should be applied during installation to prevent brittle fracture. 2.7.4 Remove the grinding roller lifting tool. Install the hinge shaft components (MG32.11.11) on the roller frame, and insert the grinding roller alignment rods into the holes in the end caps of the grinding rollers in order to initially align them, ensuring that the tips of the three alignment rods are at roughly the same height and aligned with each other. 2.7.5 Install the grinding roller oil temperature measuring device. 2.8 Hinge shaft installation (MG32.11.11) 2.8.1 Place the lower hinge shaft seat in the hinge shaft socket of the roller frame, clean the surface of the hinge shaft and apply molybdenum disulfide grease to it, then insert it into the hinge shaft seat. 2.8.2 Install the connecting parts for the roller frame and the hinge shaft section on the pressing frame (MG32.11.11); the hinge shaft anti-loosening plates must be fitted in their corresponding positions. (To be carried out after the pressing frame is in place and aligned.) 2.8.3 Install the hinge shaft disc spring assembly, and adjust the clearance by using shims to meet the requirements specified in the drawings. 2.9 Installation of the seal air duct (02MG32.11.23) 2.9.1 Clean the seal air system; apply MoS2 grease to the joint bearings and bolts. 2.9.2 Install the grinding roller seal air duct (01MG30.11.23, item 1) on the grinding roller frame and ensure a tight seal. Before installing the separator, first fix the sealing air duct to the casing. 2.9.3 Insert the annular tube, and install and fix it after the separator is in place. 2.10 Installation of the tie rod loading device (MG32.11.13) 2.10.1 First, place the cylinder assembly (02MG32.11.14) next to the gearbox (see 2.3). 2.10.2 Connect the lower bearing of the cylinder to the tie rod platform using a pin, and secure it in place. Ensure the installation location matches the drawings. 2.10.3 For the installation of the tie rod seal, it is required that the joint bearing move smoothly and that the seal be in good condition. 2.10.4 Carefully install the tie rod assembly with the union joints, being mindful to pass through the tie rod seal. 2.10.5 Connect the cylinder to the tie rod, check the length to which the upper and lower threads have been screwed in, and insert the countersunk screw for stopping the screwing. 2.10.6 Install the flexible joint at the position indicated in the diagram; it must be aligned with the axis of the coal grinder. The set screw heads between the flexible joint and the tie rod should be on the inner side. Note: During the above adjustment process, only the connecting sleeve may be rotated! 2.10.7 Install the sleeve at the bottom of the swivel joint according to the diagram and secure it. 2.10.8 After aligning and positioning the pressure frame, lift the pull rod using the hydraulic cylinder until the joint makes contact with the spherical surface inside the groove of the pressure frame pull rod. 2.10.9 Install the connecting parts between the pressure frame and the tie rod. 2.10.10 Release pressure from the cylinder and lower the pull rod. Note: Do not apply grinding force at this time! 2.10.11 Then, wear the measuring device and proximity switch (MG32.11.13) in accordance with the requirements specified in the drawings. 2.11 Installation of the pressure frame (01MG30.11.10). 2.11.1 Before installation, apply MoS2 grease carefully to the parts that are connected to the tie rods and hinge shafts. 2.11.2 Place the pressing frame into the grinder housing in position, and check whether the gap between the pressing frame and the housing’s guiding devices is 4.5±0.5 mm on all the front, back, left, and right sides. 2.11.3 Remove the mounting retainer of the grinding roller; at this point, the grinding roller should be inside the raceway of the grinding disc. Perform step 3 of the 2.8 hinge shaft installation. A plumb line is drawn from above to determine the center of the coal grinder; the adjustment shims behind the guide plates are adjusted so that the tips of the three alignment rods intersect the center line of the grinder. The elevation and alignment deviation of these three tips should not exceed 3 mm. Next, the gap between the pressure frame and the casing guide mechanism is adjusted so that there is no gap between the front guide plate of the casing and the positioning surface of the pressure frame, while there is a gap of 5 ± 0.5 mm between the rear guide plate of the casing and the positioning surface of the pressure frame (the adjustment of the gap should be based on the alignment of the three grinding roller alignment rods). Finally, the pressure frame guide mechanism is fastened to the casing using bolts. Note: During operation of the coal grinder, the contact areas between the guide blocks and guide plates are subject to frequent impacts and friction from upward and downward movements. Although both the guide blocks and guide plates are made of wear-resistant materials, wear is inevitable; therefore, it is necessary to regularly check and adjust the gap between the guide plates. When the guide plate wears out and the gap increases to more than 8 mm, shims need to be added for adjustment in order to restore the original installation position; otherwise, it will affect the grinding motion. Perform the installation of the parts related to the hinge shafts on the press frame (see 2.8.2 and 2.8.3), as well as the installation of the parts related to the tie rod loading device (see 2.10.8 to 2.10.10). 2.12 Installation of the rotary separator (MG30.11.15X) 2.12.1 Clean the surface of the casing flange, place the asbestos rope used for sealing in an S-shaped pattern inside the bolt holes of the casing flange, and apply sealant. Determine the position of the separator based on the locations of the sealed pipes on the casing and those on the separator, then place the separator on the casing and connect the flanges together with bolts. 2.12.2 Connect the grinding roller seal air duct (with joint bearings) installed in 2.9.1 to the annular seal air duct, and seal it properly; also connect the flanges of the main air duct and the separator air duct. 2.13 Installation of explosion-proof inert gas pipelines: The user connects the inert gas supply source to the explosion-proof inert gas pipelines of the grinder body according to the drawings provided by the design institute, and installs inert gas shut-off valves outside the grinder body’s pipelines (i.e., on the system pipelines). 2.14 Installation of seal air ducts: The user shall install the seal air ducts from the outlet of the seal fan to the coal grinder, in accordance with the drawings provided by the design institute. 2.15 Install the base platform (02MG30.11.26), separator railing and ladder (02MG30.11.16). 2.15.1 Install the base platform according to the diagram. 2.15.2 Install the ladder for the base platform according to the diagram. 2.15.3 Install the separator top platform and ladder according to the diagram. 2.16 Installation of measurement and monitoring components: The measuring point tube seats are welded, and the user shall install the various measurement and monitoring components in accordance with the \"ZGM95N Type Coal Grinding Mill Measuring Point Layout Diagram\" (drawing number MG30.24). 2.17 Install the motor (MG30.11.01), coupling (MG33.11.17) and coupling guard (MG30.11.02) as required by the manufacturer. 2.17.1 Clean the bottom surface of the motor, the surface of the base plate, and the intermediate gasket, then lift the motor into place. 2.17.2 First, heat the two pairs of wheels and install them on the shafts of the motor and gearbox respectively. Align the motor in accordance with the technical requirements of coupling GB5015-85ZL9, and fix it with bolts. 2.17.3 Align the coupling and connect it to the counterweight, then install the coupling guard. 2.17.4 Connect the motor wiring to the cooling water pipes, etc. Precautions: a. After wiring the motor, check its rotation direction; do not install the nylon pins for transmission until the motor’s rotation direction is determined! Once the motor direction is determined, the motor power connections must not be changed! b. The installation sequence of the cooling water pipes and motor protection devices is the responsibility of the user. c. Before starting the motor, remove the drain plug of the air cooler. 2.18 Install the lubricating oil station (02MG30.11.22A). 2.18.1 Clean the outside of the light oil station before it is installed. Check the cleanliness inside the connecting oil pipe; if it is not up to standard, it must be treated. 2.18.2 Before installation, the cold oil cooler should be subjected to a pressure test at 0.6 Mpa to check for any leaks inside it. Note: After the pressure test, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the residues inside the cold oil cooler. 2.18.3 When installing the light oil station, it should be secured to prevent vibration during operation. Note: a. Argon arc welding must be used for oil pipes and flanges. b. Install the main throttle orifice plate at the gearbox inlet flange and add gaskets for sealing. c. The installation of power supplies, cooling water pipes, control valves, protective devices, instruments, etc. is to be determined by the user. d. At zero meter, seal the light oil station tank with cement as per the diagram to prevent contaminants such as oil and water from entering the pit. e. It is strictly prohibited to wash the light oil station with water, especially the electrical junction boxes on it. 2.19 Installation of high-pressure oil system (03MG30.11.19) 2.19.1 The high-pressure oil station, cylinders, and oil pipelines shall be installed in accordance with the installation drawings. 2.19.2 The components of the hydraulic system are precision parts; to ensure safe operation, the interior of the system must be kept clean, so the following actions should be taken. a. The inside of the oil pipe must be acid-washed to remove rust, passivated, and cleaned thoroughly before it can be connected and assembled. b. The installation environment must be clean to prevent dust from entering the system. 2.19.3 Instructions for pickling hydraulic oil hoses: a. Clean the inner diameter of the hose with detergent. b. Clean the inner diameter of the tube with clean water, and blow it out with compressed air. c. Soak the oil pipes in 5% citric acid (or use the acid cleaning process for boiler steel pipes). d. Rinse with clean water for 2–3 hours. e. Use compressed air for the ball passing test. (85% of the pipeline diameter) f. Connect the pipeline and fill it with working oil. 2.20 Third concrete pouring: All components within the range of the foundation structure shall be installed, and concrete can be poured only after inspection and acceptance show that everything is in order. 2.21 Nameplate installation: Weld it to an easily visible location on the machine housing. 2.22 Installation of insulation materials: To improve the thermal efficiency of the system, users may consider installing insulation layers on the coal mills. The areas that require such insulation are mainly the separator, the bottom of the machine base, and the hot air inlets; the design details are to be determined by the users themselves. 2.23 Oiling 2.23.1 Gearbox oiling a. Before oiling, drain the residual oil from the thin oil station and the gearbox. b. Remove the desiccant through the gearbox inspection hole and check for any foreign objects inside. c. Filter the N320 phosphor sulfur-type heavy-duty industrial gear oil through a filter and then pour it into the gearbox. The exact oil level is determined after the light oil station is in operation (with the gearbox not running), by the oil level in the oil sight hole at the back of the gearbox; this level should be on the center line of the hole. 2.23.2 N46 anti-wear hydraulic oil shall be filled into the high-pressure oil pump station. The rust preventive oil in the pump station must first be drained; after that, the N46 anti-wear hydraulic oil, which has been filtered through a filter, shall be poured in from the air filter, with a filling volume of approximately 390 liters. 2.23.3 Fill the grinding roller with SHG high-temperature bearing gear oil. Open the oil drain plug of the grinding roller to drain all the rust preventive oil inside (when installing the grinding roller, one oil drain hole should be placed in the lowest position, see 2.7.3). Then reinstall the oil plug, making sure to use a lock washer. (The rust preventive oil should not be drained too early.) Open the rear cover of the roller frame, unscrew the plug at the oil filling port and pour in oil – approximately 22 liters. After pouring the oil, check the oil level using the oil gauge; it should be between the highest and lowest marks on the gauge. Install the oil injection hole screw, attach the breather, and then close the rear cover of the shaft housing. 2.23.4 Fill the drive unit of the rotary separator with N320 sulfur-phosphorus type heavy-duty industrial gear oil, at a volume of approximately 250 liters. 2.23.5 Precautions for oil filling: a. The load-carrying capacity of the lubricating oil film is a very important parameter; its testing is costly, and most organizations do not have the means to conduct such tests. Therefore, specific numerical values for this parameter are not listed in Appendix 2 of the ‘Lubricants Table’. Users should prefer oil suppliers to prevent the inclusion of substandard oil, which could endanger the safety of the equipment. b. The conventional specifications of the purchased oil must be met, especially the viscosity index of the oil. c. Before oil injection and after the trial operation of the lubricating oil station, as well as before starting the grinder, it is necessary to test the main parameters of the oil; these parameters must meet those specified in the lubricant specifications sheet. d. When filling with oil, the environment must be clean to prevent dust from entering the oil. e. The oil must be filtered through a filter with a precision of 6um before it can be injected. f. The oiling of the lubricating oil station and the high-pressure oil pump station should be carried out in accordance with their respective instruction manuals. 3. Pre-startup debugging: Debugging is a necessary task before starting the coal grinder, and it includes the lubrication system, high-pressure oil system, and rotary separator, among others. 3.1 Preparatory work before commissioning 3.1.1 Complete the wiring for the lubrication system, high-pressure oil system, and rotary separator control; check whether the rotation direction of the motor meets the requirements. 3.1.2 Verify the primary instruments. 3.1.3 Check that the positions of all valves and filters in the lubrication system and high-pressure oil system are correct. 3.2 Commissioning of the lubrication system (in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements for the gearbox and lubricating oil station). 3.3 Commissioning of the high-pressure oil system (in accordance with Chapter 4, \"User Manual for GYZ Type High-Pressure Oil Stations\") 3.4 Commissioning of the rotary separator 3.4.1 Start the rotary separator at low speed using the variable frequency speed control system (with a speed not exceeding 50 rpm), and check whether it operates smoothly without any abnormal noises. 3.4.2 Increase the rotational speed to 90–130 rpm and check the operation status. 3.4.3 Resolve any potential issues and conclude the debugging process. 3.5 Others 3.5.1 The initial setting for the butterfly valve on the seal air duct is at a scale position of 6. 3.5.2 Seal inspection: Take advantage of the opportunity provided by hot air and seal fans for maintenance to check the sealing condition of the coal grinder.
