How should the control system be grounded? A detailed explanation would be great! I hope experts can give some guidance!

Both protection grounding and working grounding are covered by relevant specifications. System grounding is determined based on the specific conditions of each manufacturer; generally, during the setup of the DCS, it is the DCS manufacturer who decides whether system grounding is necessary, and if so, the electrical engineering team handles the installation of the grounding busbars and similar components.
Search online and you’ll find many options; each type has specific requirements regarding the diameter of the grounding wires. In general, single-point grounding is required, and the grounding resistance should be measured before the system is powered on – DCS systems require a resistance of less than 4 ohms, while PLC systems require it to be less than 1 ohm.
