It is possible in the case of an electromagnetic flowmeter, because once the electric cell is powered on, a strong electromagnetic field is generated around it, and the presence of this electromagnetic field can easily interfere with the electromagnetic flowmeter.
In addition to what the others have said, check again whether the grounding wire of the flow meter is in poor contact
