Has anyone ever used tetrafluoroethylene beakers or crucibles? Is it useful? I’ve seen that many analysis methods make use of tetrafluoroethylene beakers. I seem to have seen such beakers before as well, but when heating them on a low-temperature electric hot plate, the solution inside the beaker aggregates and doesn’t disperse, making it impossible to carry out the preliminary processing. Those who have used them could please share their experiences, or tell me which manufacturer produces them. We usually use acid dissolution to decompose ores. Thank you!
I’ve used a beaker made of polytetrafluoroethylene, but I forgot what brand it was. What ore do you use to decompose? Maybe it’s because I’ve never done your kind of analysis; I don’t understand what the sentence \"When heating on a low-temperature electric hot plate, the solution in the beaker also gathers together and doesn’t disperse\" means. I used ordinary glass beakers when working with phosphate ore.
