I would like to ask the seniors about the certification for pressure vessel design

One should obtain a qualification certificate for pressure vessel designers, covering design, verification, review, and approval levels. These exams are usually organized by provincial special equipment associations (societies); exam schedules are released at the beginning of each year. Classes are arranged based on the number of applicants and the deadline, typically twice a year. Design personnel at all levels in pressure vessel design firms shall meet the following requirements: (1) Technical director of the design firm – A pressure vessel design firm shall appoint a technical director who is in charge of pressure vessel design work. (II) The design unit shall appoint personnel responsible for the approval of pressure vessel designs, and such personnel must meet the following requirements: 1. Hold a Qualification Certificate for Pressure Vessel Design Approval Officers, and have at least 3 years of experience in reviewing pressure vessel designs ； 2. Possesses comprehensive professional knowledge of pressure vessels ； 3. Be familiar with the regulations and standards related to pressure vessels, and be able to properly apply them as well as organize and guide designers at all levels to ensure their proper implementation ； 4. Familiar with pressure vessel design work and relevant technological developments at home and abroad, possessing comprehensive analysis and judgment skills to make correct decisions on key technical issues ； 5. Hold a senior technical professional title. (III) Review personnel: 1. Familiar with and able to apply relevant regulations and standards, capable of guiding the design work of designers in corresponding categories ； 2. Possess professional knowledge in pressure vessel design, and be familiar with using computers for design purposes ； 3. Have more than 3 years of experience in designing pressure vessels of the relevant category, with corresponding design results for such pressure vessels that have been put into manufacture and use ； 4. Hold a technical title at the intermediate level or above. (IV) Designers: 1. Possess professional knowledge in the design of pressure vessels of the corresponding category ； 2. Able to effectively implement relevant regulations and standards ； 3. Able to independently complete design work for corresponding categories under the guidance of reviewers, and skilled in using computers for design purposes ； 4. Possess a technical title at the junior level or above (including junior level). (5) Special requirements for designers at the SAD level: 1. At least three years of experience in the conventional design of pressure vessels ； 2. Hold a bachelor’s degree or above in a field related to pressure vessels ； 3. Possesses expertise in stress analysis, including the finite element method ； 4. Able to independently carry out the corresponding design, verification, and review tasks for analysis and design; capable of using computers for stress analysis calculations, and able to evaluate the analysis results in accordance with standards ； 5. Hold an intermediate or higher technical title.
