Some time ago, the top temperature of our tar distillation column was extremely unstable; initially, it dropped from around 125 degrees Celsius to 90 degrees Celsius within one minute, despite no changes in the factors that could affect it, such as reflux, furnace temperature, processing volume, or superheated steam. When the top temperature dropped, we reduced the reflux in a timely manner; the top temperature rose again, but thereafter it became unstable, fluctuating greatly. Later, the light oil cooler was changed to an exhaust system, and increasing the processing volume helped to stabilize the temperature. Is it possible that the tower is under pressure?
