Those who work on simulations know that choosing the thermodynamic approach is the most difficult and important part. Choosing the right thermodynamic method is key to ensuring the accuracy of simulation results. I suggest that in the future, when you have time, we can discuss more about the experience in selecting appropriate thermodynamic methods, as well as talk about the simulations you carry out and why you chose that particular thermodynamic method.

Find a book on thermodynamics and carefully examine the scope of application of various thermodynamic methods; it’s not difficult to simply choose one based on these considerations. . . There are also many posts in the forum that describe the scope. . .
I try them one by one; I use the one whose simulation works.

Which one can be used depends on whether it matches the actual device; the purpose of simulation is to serve the actual device.
