Questions about insurance

I have been working at this company for 5 years, and I never purchased insurance before. Then a new manager came in and said that insurance should be bought, but coverage would only start from January 1st of this year; no compensation would be given for the period prior to that. Let’s discuss how to resolve this issue
It’s easy to make up for it all if you really want to; go to the labor office and get a certificate proving your 5 years of work here. Prove that you have indeed worked at this company for 5 years without having a labor contract, hehe. Jobs always pay salaries, right? I’m not sure how your company handles salary payments; if it’s deposited directly into a bank account, then you can obtain a statement from that bank account as proof
