We set our device at 0.5 MPA; if it’s too high, the HN from the upstream device cannot be transported, and if it’s too low, the suction pressure of the pump is low resulting in a low flow rate, which in turn requires a larger opening degree for the control valve
Different design processes and pump selections result in varying operating pressures; ours is an IFP pump with a pressure of 0.25 MPa
It depends on the design pressure of your device; the lower the pressure, the more severe the reaction conditions, and the greater the amount of carbon deposition on the catalyst. It is also necessary to check whether the pressure at the outlet of the fourth counterflow stage is close to the design value; when the unit is operating at low load, the high-pressure side pressure should be increased appropriately to ensure that the pressure at the bottom of the fourth counterflow stage is close to the design value. Adjustments also need to be made based on reaction outcomes such as the reforming conversion rate
The pressure of my crude oil buffer tank is set at 0.25 MPa, primarily to serve as a nitrogen seal, and proportional control is used for this purpose!
