The second stream is a side stream that passes through a stripping tower and a heat exchange unit for cooling, before being sent out as a product. Meanwhile, the second stream within the reactor system undergoes interrupted reflux and returns to the tower via heat exchange; its purpose is to remove excess heat from the tower, thereby achieving the desired equilibrium between the gas and liquid phases
The light second-stage oil is exported from the plant as a finished product; it is usually light diesel. The medium second-stage oil, on the other hand, is used for circulation within the plant and is not exported, serving to adjust the quality of the product as well as the thermal balance of the entire tower
