FE refers to primary sensing elements such as orifice plates; generally, E denotes sensors. If the output signal is not a standard DDZ type 3 signal (4–20 mA or 1–5 V), then such an element is usually denoted as XXE. If it outputs a standard signal, it is denoted as XXT. FQI refers to the flow accumulation indicator

Reply to 5# robinhood008: It’s not a composite unit; it consists of two instruments (or three instruments): the FE (sensing element), such as orifice plates, etc; FT (transmitter), converts the signal from the sensing element into a standard 4–20mA signal ; FI, FIQ, FIC, etc. are secondary instruments; in the case of a DCS system, it refers to the DCS itself. Used to indicate and accumulate the value of the transmitter input. This constitutes a detection loop.
