On August 26, the founding conference of the Shandong Province Coal Chemical Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance was held in Zaozhuang New City. The deputy mayors in charge of relevant districts (cities) from Tengzhou and Xuecheng cities, the directors of the science and technology bureaus, officials from relevant departments directly under Zaozhuang city, as well as representatives from the member units of the Shandong Province Coal Chemical Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance attended the meeting. Fu Tingan, deputy head of the Zaozhuang Political Consultative Conference and director of the Science and Technology Bureau, presided over the meeting. Xu Ling, deputy director of the Zaozhuang People’s Congress; Wang Zonglan, deputy head of the city’s Political Consultative Conference; and Zhang Lujun, deputy mayor of the city, attended the meeting. 　　At the meeting, Shi Feng from the Party Leadership Group of Zaozhuang Science and Technology Bureau read out the notice issued by the Shandong Provincial Department of Science and Technology regarding the establishment of the second batch of industrial technology alliances and strategic alliances in Shandong Province ； The meeting approved the charter of the Shandong Coal Chemical Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance. It also established the organizational structure of the first council of this alliance; Comrade Shi Feng was elected as the president of the first council, and he delivered a speech in that capacity ； Duan Xiaoqing, deputy inspector of the Shandong Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and Xu Ling, vice chairman of the Zaozhuang People’s Congress, jointly unveiled the plaque for the Shandong Provincial Coal Chemical Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance ； Zhang Lujun, the deputy mayor of the city, briefed the attendees on the current economic development situation in Zaozhuang as well as the promising prospects for the development of the coal chemical industry, expressing high expectations for the strategic alliance for technological innovation in this sector ； Duan Xiaoqing, deputy inspector of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, delivered an important speech on behalf of the department. 　　Finally, Professor Wang Fuchen from East China University of Science and Technology gave a special lecture.
