Reply to 1# Yu Man: The increase rate of the catalyst is the catalyst circulation rate calculated based on the operating time of the closed hopper, which represents an instantaneous value; whereas the average rate is the average of the rates from the last 5 cycles.
That’s right; on the DCS, there should be information such as the cycle rate from the previous round, the average cycle rate, and the set differential pressure value for the current round, etc.
There’s nothing special about the cycle rate; should we use the average of the last five cycle rates instead? What’s the reason?
The so-called average is simply a statistical method for calculating the overall value over a certain period of time.
CCR catalyst circulation rate (HQCATA): It is the amount of catalyst in the closed hopper divided by the time interval between two consecutive catalyst deliveries. The average cycle rate of the catalyst for the last X transfers (AQCATA) is calculated only after each transfer is completed. AQCATA = Previous AQCATA * (1 – 1/X) + HQCATA * (1/X), where X is the number of transfers used for calculating the average value. (System default value: 5) Of course, X is a default value specified by the patent design; you can also change it to any value you consider appropriate.
