Different anaerobic settings require different levels of oil content in the inlet water. However, the oil content in your water is unstable and quite high; it is recommended to use pre-treatment methods such as air flotation, as this can help stabilize the water quality and reduce the load on the anaerobic system
Hello. Do you mean to perform air flotation before anaerobic treatment, before putting it into the tank? :$

It depends on the nature of the oil; if it is a light vegetable oil, 100 mg/L is no problem at all. Such a high concentration of 130–18,000 mg/L requires oil separation treatment; if there is emulsified oil, demulsification is also necessary. There are many ways for oil separation: conventional oil separators, air flotation for oil separation, Fenton oxidation for oil separation, ultrasonic oil separation, and so on. . . .
Thank you for the suggestion from the previous brother. The oil in our wastewater is emulsified, with very little free surface oil. It seems that a chemical method will have to be used for treatment. :$
